AluFab Metals offers sophistication for quality and insulation premium insulating slide and lift-slide system, designed to create maximal glass areas, combined with increased comfort.
AluFab Metals’ L&S system is available with various opening possibilities. The low threshold option offers a unique solution to improve the building’s accessibility. Optional automatic opening solutions guarantee a maximum of comfort. The lift-slide system allows the creation of glazed doors with extreme dimensions and weights up to 880 lbs. It also offers an aesthetical minimalistic middle section.
LIFT AND SLIDE OPERATION
Single-action handle lifts sliding door up from its airtight/watertight position. The door can then slide with ease on rollers along the track. Returning handle to its original position lowers the door and engages airtight/watertight seal. The capacity of up to 600 Lb per sash.

The new lift-and-slide door 85 mm provides light-flooded rooms and beautiful views on nature thanks to very wide openings. It has been designed especially as a door to patios, balconies, and gardens.
Even at its maximum size of 6.50 m x 2.80 m, the door can be opened and closed without effort and ensures a smooth and barrier-free transition to the outside. Another advantage is the space-saving design: The sash slides parallel to the fixedly glazed element and by this means does not occupy extra space. The result: spacious room designs with an added value in terms of living comfort!

Sealed stainless steel ball-bearing rollers make the Multi-Slide Door easy to operate, even with extreme panel weights and it features dual-paned low-E glass to reflect heat while allowing light to pass through. CLIMATE READY GLASS
AluFab Metals’ multi-slide doors feature dual-paned low-E glass for better energy performance. Glass can be customized in a variety of types, colors, and thicknesses for improved privacy, protection, and thermal efficiency.
CONCEALED LOCKING SYSTEM
Our Multi-Slide Door includes a hidden stainless steel multi-point lock to secure its large sliding panels, providing additional strength and protection. A keyed cylinder option is available.
HEAVY-DUTY HARDWARE
For strength and durability, AluFab Metals’ Window Systems uses stainless steel hardware for its door systems which is capable of handling more than twice the weight of the largest panel.
CONFIGURATIONS AND SIZES
AluFab Metals’ Multi-Slide Door is available in nearly any configuration, with panels up to 12 feet tall (maximum 70 square feet). For complete flexibility, our multi-slide doors can be designed to do things like go around curves, bypass obstacles, and bi-part in the center. Nearly any shape is possible, including open corners.

WATER BARRIER SILL
Designed for effectiveness in all climates, the water barrier sill’s 1.5” interior leg and weep-hole system safeguards against water intrusion. For additional protection, the back leg of each sliding panel penetrates the track to help keep out dust and debris.
FLUSH SILL
When ease of entry is more important than performance against the elements, our flush sill is the perfect choice. With an interior and exterior sill height of just .75″, it lines up with most interior flooring for a smooth transition to the outside.
Weep holes in the track allow water to drain away from the door while the back leg of each sliding panel discourages dust and debris by penetrating the track.

Walls that disappear? The desire for design and exclusivity is more than met by AluFab Metal’s sliding and fixed window system. The frame profiles are pared back to the minimum and can be fully integrated into the floor, walls, and ceiling. Only the slimline leaf profiles with 21 or 26 mm facing width are visible. Up to 98% of the area is therefore glass.
Window areas of up to 12m² can be achieved in sliding doors and up to 18m² in fixed windows. The sliding window system allows heights of up to 4.5 m. This equates to completely frameless transparency.
LIGHT BARRIER-FREE SYSTEM
The variety of system configuration options ensures a degree of practical flexibility which leaves nothing to be desired. Up to four-track sliding systems, glass-to-glass inside and outside corners, floor, ceiling, and wall-flush installation and wall-inlets into which sliding elements disappear completely into the brickwork are all possible. The floor area is free of bothersome thresholds and thus barrier-free. It creates a seamless transition from inside to outdoors.
Aesthetics, combined with high-performance features communicate the clean minimalism of our system glass façades. All elements are intrinsic components in modern architecture. The system glass façade profiles between the two stories comprise insulated, concealed prone aluminum frame profiles and are ideal wherever minimal profile facing widths and maximum window height are required. The flush-fitting grass facade can be combined on request with slimline design sliding doors and is the perfect solution for high-quality double-glazed residential and commercial buildings.
